Our Gold Medal Moment: We’re AIPC Certified!
We’ve got some exciting news to share: the Halifax Convention Centre has once again achieved AIPC Quality Standards Gold Level Certification! The AIPC Gold Level is an international mark of excellence that places us among the top convention centres in the world.
It’s a big deal. And it’s one we’re incredibly proud to share.
So… What Is AIPC Gold Certification?
AIPC stands for the International Association of Convention Centres, the global industry association for professional convention and exhibition centre managers. With members in more than 60 countries, AIPC sets the bar for how world-class convention centres should operate. In fact, only 17 venues in North America currently hold this designation.
AIPC’s Quality Standards Program involves a comprehensive, independent audit that evaluates how a venue performs across key areas like:
- Customer service
- Facilities and operations
- Health, safety, and security
- Employee relations
- Financial integrity
- Community and industry relations
- Environmental responsibility
- Inclusivity and supplier relations
In short: it looks at how everything works together to deliver exceptional experiences.
