The Laing House Masquerade Ball

November 5

The Laing House Masquerade Ball is celebrating 16 years! Our reimagined event will allow guests to enjoy a fabulous evening with friends and colleagues all in support of youth living with mental illness.

The idea of the Ball originated with a group of 15 community volunteers inspired to support Laing House and our programs and services.

Each of the volunteers were touched in some way by mental illness and believed in the Laing House model. The common drive was to draw attention to mental health recovery for young people living in Nova Scotia.

That first Masquerade Ball raised nearly $220,000 and since then the event has raised over 2 million dollars!

Every dollar raised reflects the outstanding commitment of both our donors and the event volunteer committee, both of which make it possible!

“It was an amazing night – it is so much bigger than just us.”
