In 1725, the inaugural Peace & Friendship Treaty was signed, marketing the beginning of what has evolved into a long and meaningful journey towards Reconciliation. To honour the momentous & historic year that has been 300 years in the making, the Mi'kmaw Native Friendship Center is excited to host the Wije'winen Kjipuktuk Gala- an event that will celebrate both their rich culture and the promising future of the Friendship Centre.
