Suzanne has an eye for detail and passion for quality, so she knows exactly where to go to explore a little piece of heaven outside of Halifax. Her action-packed adventures along our South Shore provide fun for the whole family!

  • Take in our coastline. Whether you’re looking to get out on an adventure by cycling, driving or walking, the Aspotogan Peninsula along Nova Scotia’s South Shore is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels. This is a 40km coastal route connecting Hubbards to East River, taking you past photogenic fishing villages, sandy beaches, cafés, and a mysterious castle on the shores of Southwest Cove.
  • Relax on the beach. If relaxing to the sound of crashing waves while your feet are buried in soft sand is more your style, than Queensland Beach Provincial Park on the St. Margaret's Bay Road is the spot for you.
  • Dine at a local gem. You can only handle so much adventure before you need to refuel! Stop in for a bite at the Trellis Café, a hidden treasure in Hubbards serving fantastic food in a quaint atmosphere.
  • Travel back in time with your family. Step back in time at Ross Farm Museum, a living heritage farm tucked away a little deeper in the South Shore. Here, you and your family will experience life as it once was in rural Nova Scotia.
