NSACC - Our culinary team serves up a big win

Culinary passion runs through our team’s veins. Whether its looking for the best local product to incorporate in our menu, or presenting mouth-wateringly beautiful spreads to our guests — they know how to deliver passion in every dish they create.

We are delighted that our Executive Chef Christophe Luzeux, Pastry Chef Jonathan Hannam, and the Halifax Convention Centre won three amazing awards at the Nova Scotia Association of Chefs and Cooks (NSACC) event!

Establishment of the Year - Halifax Convention Centre

This is awarded to an establishment to recognize their outstanding contribution to the Nova Scotia Culinary profession.  

Presidents Citation - Jonathan Hannam

This is an award personally chosen by the President to thank a member for their outstanding contribution to the Association in the past year.  

Chef of the Year - Christophe Luxeux 

This is awarded to an NSACC member that exhibits the following:  professional and personal service to the industry; active participation and the betterment of NSACC, assists their peers and aids in the development of young culinarians


We are so proud of our team. They deliver superior guest experience at every event and help to support our local food industry here, in Nova Scotia. With over 70 years of combined experience on our culinary team and their award-winning expertise, you and your delegates are in excellent hands.
