There’s no shortage of St. Paddy’s Day activity in Halifax! Here are a handful of options around our downtown core and just across our harbour to help keep you busy on this magical day.

  1. Celebrate A LOT at Durty Nelly’s for their St. Paddy's Day Extravaganza, which includes a FREE breakfast if you arrive between 7-8 a.m.! Best of all, they're located just across the street from our new Halifax Convention Centre, in the heart of the Argyle Entertainment District.
  2. Visit the “Celtic Heart of the Maritimes” aka The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse for a Big Irish Breakfast and live music all day (you might even win a trip to Europe)
  3. Check out Rockbottom Brewpub & Your Father's Moustache Pub & Eatery for Celtic acts from Shannon Quinn, The Green Room Duo & Grant Eisan (Cirques du Soleil, Symphony Nova Scotia)
  4. Take a quick ferry ride to Celtic Corner for a truly Celtic experience
