How Bellies Before Bins works
Bellies Before Bins is our consistent, back-of-house approach to managing surplus food responsibly by reducing waste while maximizing positive impact in our community. Here's how we do it:
Reduce
We minimize waste before it's created through thoughtful planning, purchasing, preparation, and service.
Repurpose
Surplus ingredients are creatively reused by our culinary team wherever possible.
Share
When safe and available, surplus food is shared with our team.
Donate
Excess food is donated to local non-profits through our partnership with Second Harvest.
