Events East Group announced today, Aug.16, that Carrie Cussons has been re-appointed president and CEO of the organization for a three-year contract until Nov. 30, 2021.
Rendez-Vous Canada (RVC) is Canada’s biggest international tourism marketplace, bringing together more than 1,900 tourism professionals from 30 countries to promote and discover unique Canadian experiences. While this isn’t the first time Halifax has hosted the event, this year RVC broke attendance records, making our newly opened Centre the perfect venue to host.

brought people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels from
Nova Scotia and around the world together over the Victoria
Day long weekend to get active. Halifax has proven over and over again to be an excellent location for the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon by allowing event organizers to tap into the high level of generosity and volunteerism that Nova Scotians embody with over 1,500 volunteers participating each year!
The Sutton Place Hotels, a sophisticated collection of luxury properties in North America, is opening a new hotel in Halifax’s Nova Centre, the complex that is home to the newly opened Halifax Convention Centre. This is the first Sutton Place property in Atlantic Canada.
